Under the spell of Korean beauty since 2007

I am Kathy - the voice, face, lips and brains behind Your Seoul Key. This is my 'cupboard under the stairs' - where I can talk about K-beauty, a great passion of mine.
For daily updates, mini-reviews, almost daily sheet mask reviews and bits and bobs from my life do head onto my Instagram.

I'm an aficionado of everything that makes life beautiful.
Full time woman, occasional child, part-time adult.
I dream of peace, chocolate-flavoured air and the perfect 5 dogs.

This blog took its shape in 2013, when I was living in South Korea. At the time I had already been in-love with K-beauty, but I never had it quite as accessible. So, after realising how very few places there were for people to learn about Korean beauty, I decided to start this little blog.

Why K-beauty? Because it's what works for me - not a trend, not jumping on a bandwagon. My skincare & makeup collection is, and has been for the past 9 years, 99% K-beauty, so you're not getting a filtered opinion because that's what's 'hot' right now.

This is absolutely mostly a beauty blog, but I do want to share bits of culture, food and life as well, so every now and then you'll be interrupted with a finger-licking recipe or some of my favourite tunes & films.

I review almost exclusively Korean Beauty products, with occasional intermissions of other Asian beauty brands, as well as perfume reviews - something else I hold dear to my heart.

You're getting a full-on me - I don't edit my photos beyond lighting/colour adjustment in order to replicate real-life conditions as much as possible.
My opinions are always honest, and never tailored according to someone else's pen.
I try my best to only purchase/test/review things I actually would use - if there are Sponsored items, you will always see a full disclaimer!
