Chateau Labiotte Wine Lip Tint in Shiraz Red [REVIEW & SWATCHES]

I love when aesthetics and makeup come together - the Chateau Labiotte Wine Lip Tint is where it's at!

I don't actually drink a lot, or at all these days, but I love the elegant aesthetics of French culture - a lot of it has to do with wine and champagne.
It's been quite a while since I first saw the Chateau Labiotte Wine Lip Tint - I've kept my eye on it and finally it's mine!

I picked up the shade RD01 Shiraz Red - there are 5 other shades, if I'm right, that range from pinks to corals and plums. There's certainly something for everyone, and Shiraz Red, in my opinion, is a must-have shade of red!

Most of the places when you buy this Chateau Labiotte Wine Lip Tint you also get a mini-version, that's an even tinier wine bottle!

This is, quite possibly, the most aesthetically pleasing packaging I have ever seen - and ridiculously clever too. The Chateau Labiotte Wine Lip Tint has wine extract, to help moisturise and soften the lips. So why not package it in a tiny wine bottle?!

I love all things miniature - there is something about things smaller than their regular size that makes me want to jump around like a child (and I do). This Wine Lip Tint does the same, because it's the most perfect replica of a French wine bottle.

Okay...enough gushing about the packaging - don't lie to me, I know that's the main reason you want this lippie!

Chateau Labiotte Wine Lip Tint in Chiraz red is a perfect blue-based hot red shade. I knew I wanted this particular one thanks to my obsession with reds.
The applicator is your regular doe-foot, but this one is slightly pointier - that helps apply the tint with great precision, which is important because it does stain.

The tint itself is very liquid-y and smells of sangria (fruit & wine punch) - applying it is easy and super quick, thanks to the incredibly pigmented nature of it.

I love everything about this lip tint...let's look at some lip swatches!

One full coat - 5 minutes after application
One full coat - 4 hours after application

5 hours after application, following French toast & a glass of juice

As you can see - the lip tint is quite long lasting. Sure, if you eat oilier foods it will start to come off, but you can quickly touch that up.
If you're sticking to coffee - the Chateau Labiotte Wine Tint in Shiraz Red will remain on your lips for several hours!

The wear is quite comfortable - as per Labiotte claims the tint doesn't dry the lips. It actually feels like you're not wearing anything once the Wine Lip Tint sets.

I know you want to marvel at the packaging one more time - let's all take a moment here!

But seriously, this is one of the best lip tints I've come across - even if I disregard the packaging. It's comfortable and long-wearing, not to mention that the Shiraz Red shade is an absolute show-stopper!

    1. I can imagine! I managed to get it before the hype started, so it was really easy. I'm sure that BBcosmetic.com ships to Indonesia - you should be able to get it there!
