Hey lovelies! Having a wonderful Valentine's day I hope? I personally have always found it fun to have a Valentine's day for myself - sleep in (if it's not a work/school day), have a long shower with my best stuff, pamper my skin with lotions and potions and finally cook delicious treats! Basically - single or not, there are ways to show love, especially to yourself :) Here's my Face Of The Day, inspired by Lisa Eldridge's Keira Knightely's Red Carpet Look (link to her blogpost HERE).

After watching Lisa's video, I decided to go with one of the options she proposed - brown eyeliner to deepen the look just a touch. It worked wonderfully!

The entire look was created with Korean brands:
Eyes:
  • Entire lid+brow bone - Innsifree Mineral Glam Brightener #2 Moonlight Reflected on Water (it was LE, to my knowledge, similar one here)
  • Light shading in the corners and crease - Etude House Look At My Eyes Cafe #PP502 Blueberry Latte (can't find it on EH website, strangely, here's an Ebay link)
  • Eyeliner - Missha Sepia Ink Eyeliner, my review of it here
  • Mascara - TonyMoly Cats Wink 3GO Mascara (find it here
Face:
  • Base - Missha Wrinkle Filler BB Cream #21 (find it here)
  • Blush - Nature Republic Botanical Lip&Cheek Color #3 Sugar Orange (can't find it anywhere, except here)
  • Powder - Skin Food Buckwheat Loose Powder #21 Skin Beige (find it here)
  • Highlighter - Innsifree Mineral Glam Brightener (same as above)
Lips:
  • Lipstick - Lioele Lip Color Stick #2 Jessie (orange) (Ebay link here)

I simply love this bright, cheerful yet still understated look. After seeing so many pink/beige looks for Valentine's, I think this is a much more refreshing, fun take on it. Honestly, I was sporting orange lipstick all throughout S/S 2013, so for me it's not really a 'new' thing, but it doesn't mean I don't still adore it! It's really quick to put together, and I can see myself recreating this look quite often in the future, as I'm a fan of bold lip+natural/understated face combinations.

That's it for today! Hope you enjoyed my short blog post. Comment and subscribe for more!

XoXo,
